Catching up!

Holy moly where did 3 months go and I haven't updated the blog.  Craziness!  I guess that means that I've been so busy that I didn't have time to write.  We had an extremely busy summer with all of our family visiting at different times.  The kids enjoyed going to summer camp here in Nocatee with all their friends.  Brody turned 7 on July 13th and we took him to Disney to celebrate.  We are now Disney Passholders so we have been taking some weekend trips.  SO MUCH FUN!

School started back on August 10th and with that comes all the school year commitments.

Yesterday, Hurricane Irma came through the entire state of Florida.  We are blessed to not have had any damage to our home or yard.  You really feel so helpless when put in these situations.

Brody is in 1st grade and Marissa is in 5th grade.  They love their teachers and are enjoying being back with their friends.  I'm going to post a bunch of pictures to help catch up and hopefully I will be much better at making posts on the blog!

Summer Time!

I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted!  I guess life just keeps me too busy but I'm going to try to catch up now.  The kids had their last day of school on May 24th.  They are now 1st and 5th graders!  Brody had an awesome Kindergarten program and party.  I love to see my boy shine!  Marissa had such a successful year too!  They both make me so proud in how well they do in school!

Last Day of School 2017

Tony and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary on May 25th.  It's crazy to think we have been married that long already.  We are blessed with a beautiful life together and I hope we have many more years to come!  We got to escape on a mini getaway to beautiful Palm Beach, Florida.  We enjoyed our time alone and just relaxing on the beach.  The beach really is our happy place and we are so lucky to live so close to it now.

The kids have been enjoying going to Nocatee camp this summer.  They love the time they get to spend with their friends playing games, working on art projects and playing at the waterpark.

We also had my brother and his family come to stay with us this summer!  It's always fun to be together!

The kids flew to Minnesota last Friday to spend the week with family!  It's a quiet house around here without them!  Looking forward to hearing all about their week away!

The summer is flying by fast and before we know it August 10th will be here and we will be back in the school routine!  More adventures to come....

Alice in Wonderland Play!

We loved watching our girl perform in her school play, Alice in Wonderland.  She did an awesome job and I'm always so proud of her for getting up on stage in front of her peers and parents to perform.  It's such a privilege to have a school that has an elementary drama club.   So thankful for the wonderful teachers for helping make this happen!  Here are a few pictures I got!

Happy Birthday, Tony!

A few days late but couldn't let too much time pass me by without wishing my sweet husband a Happy 38th birthday!  We had lots of celebrations because why not?!?  We love you and I'm so lucky to share this life with you!  Hoping this year is one of the best yet!

Easter Weekend 2017

We just got back from a fun getaway for Easter Weekend.  It is still so fun to go exploring around our area and find new places to enjoy.  We spent the weekend at Jekyll Island, Georgia.  It is a beautiful island that was once owned by the most wealthiest families in America who used the island for their winter getaways.  We spent much of Saturday learning all about the islands history and seeing some homes that are still there that are original.  We also got in on the islands Easter egg hunt and it's not a getaway without some time at the pool and beach.  Can't wait to go back and do more exploring again.  We took the opportunity to take the kids to Driftwood Beach which is so unique with all the beautiful driftwood on it.  Hope you enjoy looking at some new pics we got!  Happy Easter!

Disney Weekend!

Last weekend we did a quick getaway to Disney.  We had so much fun and the wait times at the parks weren't long so that really helped too!  We stayed on property at Coronado Springs and really enjoyed the resort.  I'll let the pictures do the talking :)
