I went yesterday for my 1st Bio-Physical Profile test and a routine doctor appointment. He scored a 10 out of 10 on the test. So everything checked out perfect which is exactly what I wanted to hear! His foot looked HUGE compared to what it did at 20 weeks. The ultrasound tech said his legs are measuring long and he has moved head down. I repeat the whole process next Tuesday!
We are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary today! I would post a picture of our wedding however we got married before digital pictures were the thing to do. I don't have any digital photos of our wedding at all! These past 8 years have been absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful for each day we have together. This anniversary will be different than most because I have my first bio-physical profile and then a doctor's appointment. It's not quite the same as lounging in the Caribbean but well worth it for the new baby that will soon arrive!!!
I'll keep you posted on how today's appointments go! We get to go on a date night tonight and Marissa is spending the night with G & G Holgrimson which means I get to sleep in tomorrow! Ah, the little things in life that excite me now!!!!
I went in for another appointment last Tuesday. Everything is still looking good. My blood pressure was a little elevated but nothing that was overly concerning. The doctor wants me to come in every week for a bio-physical profile ultrasound and an appointment. So, I guess I'll be watched very closely now until the end. It will be good to see the baby again on the ultrasound! The first one is on May 25th which just happens to be our 8th wedding anniversary so what a way to celebrate! I'll keep everyone posted!
As my due date approaches, I have a flood of feelings: anxious, scared, excited, nervous, happy, surreal, unsure, tired, worried......and the list could go on forever! I almost feel like a first-time mom again. As time gets closer, the days get longer and the more anxious I feel. I can't wait to see what this little guy looks like. I am looking forward to the snuggles and the cuddles for the short time they last!
I head to the doctor again tomorrow for my 31 week check-up! Let's hope for continued good news!!!
I had another doctor's appointment last Friday. My blood pressure is still in the normal range. I was very pleased with that since I had such a stressful week. My ankles are starting to swell but the doctor thought it looked typical for the 3rd trimester. I go back to the doc on May 11th again as I'm starting my every 2 week appointments! The ticker says I have 70 days to go! Maybe less but definitely not more! YEAH!
This is a late but better late than never! We had fun celebrating with dinners out with family, date night just the two of us and a family party! I didn't get too many pictures this year so here's just one with Marissa & Meghan helping Tony blow out his candles.
