It's that time of year again when life is BUSY! All the end of school activities are in full force! It's always a fun time of year celebrating all that has been accomplished!
Marissa got the privilege of having Daddy be a chaperone for her last field trip of the 2nd grade. She said she had so much fun especially because Daddy could be there!
Marissa started softball this Spring and she has been doing awesome! It's fun to watch her learn a new sport and because confident in her new skills!
Brody also is playing T-Ball this season and he couldn't be more excited. Of course, the weather hasn't cooperated but at least they got pictures taken!
We also got to squeeze in a bonfire which is always fun for the kiddos. There is nothing like cooking your own hot dogs and s'mores!
Today was Brody's last day of preschool! This has been a very fun year for him and he is going to miss his friends and teachers! It was FREEZING this morning that I had to get the winter coat, hat and gloves out of storage!
One other fun thing that happened this week is I got to surprise Marissa with a new American Girl doll! She's been wanting Grace for a long time and it was such a blessing to get to spoil my little girl. She has worked so hard at AWANA and school that I figured it was OK to splurge a little!
We are the very proud parents of the recipient of the Awana Spark's Plaque! Way to go, Marissa! SO much work has gone into earning this and we couldn't be more proud of her! To earn this very prestigious award you have to complete all 3 Sparks Workbooks. At the end of the 3rd workbook, Marissa has said 150 verses to earn this plaque. This Awana year has absolutely flown by it seriously feels like it had just started! Here are a few pictures from last night!
