Christmas Break!

As we close out 2014 in a few short hours, I wanted to wish all my blog readers, Happy New Year!  I'm excited to see what 2015 brings for our family. 

I wanted to leave you with a few pictures I got yesterday when I took the kids to American Girl for lunch and shopping.  Brody got to come along and he enjoyed it even though it is a real girly thing to do! 

Finally SNOW!

We have had a slow start to the winter wonderland we are used to this time of year in Minnesota.  Last night it finally snowed about 4 inches and so we had to get the kids out to enjoy it today!   I love taking pictures outside in the winter on a sunny day.  The kids look so cute all bundled up and their daddy is so good to them to take them out in the cold while mommy hides behind the camera! 

Merry Christmas 2014!

So many wonderful memories made in the last week.  Driving around the streets of our town looking for Christmas lights sipping hot apple cider, going to the movies to see Annie, our annual 4family Christmas Eve dinner, watching the kids excitement opening their gifts, lots of games played, so much yummy food eaten, a festive Christmas Eve service at church and lots of fun Christmas movies watched.  We are so grateful for another year of wonderful family time and enjoying our kids when they are little.  We are going to celebrate with my family this weekend so more fun and memories to be made are to come!  Merry Christmas to my faithful blog readers!

Marissa joined gymnastics this year instead of dance.  She has been doing really well and it's impressive to see how athletic these kids are!  My friend, Betsy, captured a few pics at practice the other night and I thought I would share! 

Brody's 2014 Christmas Program!

Brody had his Christmas Program at school this morning.  It's something I look forward to every year!  He did an amazing job and I'm so proud of him!  He was so excited for it this year.  He has been working hard on our Christmas gift and he made us the cutest 2015 calendar!  He is sure one handsome boy.  He is so full of love.  He always tells me how much he loves me and it is so very sweet.  Can I just keep him 4 1/2 forever?  Yesterday, as we are getting out of the car he said to me, "Mom, I super duper love you!"  Awe, he sure knows how to melt me.  Here are the videos from the program and some pictures I captured!  Hope you enjoy his performance as much as I did!

Another busy December weekend!

We had a fabulous fun weekend and I can't wait until next weekend to have more fun celebrating!  Friday night, we had a girls night out.  Mom, Marissa and I had dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Pepitos followed up by a trip to IKEA.  The boys went to a wrestling meet to watch Uncle John coach!   Saturday, we had a relaxing morning and then we had a night out where I spoiled by my mama!  She took us to the Melting Pot for dinner for an early birthday celebration and then we went to the Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant Christmas concert.  I loved the concert and it really was festive!  Sunday the kiddos got to go to Grandpa and Grandma Holgrimson's to decorate Christmas cookies!  The weekend flew by and anticipation is high waiting for Christmas to come!
