Last half of summer

Before September ends I need to update the blog as it’s been a busy 6 weeks!

School started again on August 10th!  Marissa is in the 10th grade and Brody in 6th grade!

Marissa and I traveled to Atlanta for the Lady Gaga concert.  Then we spent the weekend exploring Atlanta!

While the girls were away, Brody took Adam to the Jumbo Shrinp game!

Marissa started her first job at The Loop here in Nocatee!  I’m proud of her for persevering and never quit!

I traveled to NYC for work and when I got back Marissa and I road tripped down to Miami for our 2nd round of the Lady Gaga concert! We ended up getting rained out and she couldn’t finish but it was still a lot of fun!  Marissa helped drive and that was a blessing!

Lincoln

 Our family has grown by a sweet kitten named Lincoln.  Marissa has been wanting a kitten for a LONG time and we finally agreed by her persuasion.

Meet Lincoln...he's a sweetie and super entertaining.  He has won all of our hearts!

Family Vacation

 The summer is almost over but we were able to travel on a family vacation in July!  I'm so thankful for the opportunity to spend a week with my family as the kids are growing up fast!

We spent 5 days in Washington DC and 3 days in New York City.  The highlight was taking Brody to a Yankees game on his 12th birthday.  In DC, we stayed the Willard Intercontinental which was one block from the White House.  It was a great location for us to be able to be in the middle of all the historical monuments and museum.  

We learned a lot of history, ate some amazing food and made some lifelong memories.  Here's a few pics from the trip!
