Braces---The 5 year journey

Marissa got her braces off on Monday!  She's always had a beautiful smile but I'm so happy for her that she was able to get them off before high school.  She started back in 3rd grade with an expander in her mouth for a year and then had to wear a retainer for 2 years until she got her braces on in July 2019.  It was worth it all to have such a beautiful result!   Congratulations to my beautiful daughter for a job well done!  You were super responsible with always wearing your rubber bands as you were instructed to and you are now reaping the benefits of it!

 We've had another busy month fly by without a chance for me to update here.  Here's our April recap!

Grandpa and Grandma came down for a visit over Easter and to catch some of Brody's baseball games.  The weather was cold while they were here so that was a bummer but we still made the most out of being together again.

We've been enjoying the beautiful weather we had the last 3-4 weeks.  The humidity has stayed away and we've been spending every night outside.  Taking walks on the beach or in our neighborhood.  Going to the pool every day.  Enjoying those beautiful sunsets from our backyard.  Feeling super blessed to be living my dream out of being a Florida girl.

Tony also celebrated his 42nd birthday!  We did an escape room called "The Heist."  We then went to The Melting pot for a yummy dinner.
