I'm doing my monthly check in to share what we've been up to and the things we are looking forward to in the weeks to come.
It seems like the weeks are passing quickly especially since school has started up again. We've been dealing with some illnesses with the kids but luckily it's not COVID but rather just a cold. Germs are still spreading around the schools. Speaking of school we are already past the midterm mark of the 1st quarter. We are in the groove of school now and Marissa is also taking a drivers education course to prepare her for the permit test. Just a few short months and she'll be driving!
Brody started up his baseball schedule and he'll be playing for 2 teams again this Fall. It's a lot of "running" to practices but it's fun to see him enjoy it so much.
We snuck in a quick weekend trip to Disney on Labor Day since we were able to get a special pass holder preview for their new ride at Epcot. We are looking forward to our trip next month with the Holgrimson family.
Last week, Tony and I rented a house in Anna Maria Island, Fl. We enjoyed some time away from the work grind and did a lot of laying in the pool on a mat. There's nothing better than some R & R!
