Catching up!

It's been awhile since my last blog post but that's probably because time is very limited these days!  We are trying to enjoy the last few days of summer before our busy fall schedule begins!

Brody turned 7 weeks on Tuesday and he is continuing to change very quickly.  He loves to watch his big sister and he is already growing out of his newborn clothes and into the 3 month clothes!  He goes back to the doctor in a week so I'll be excited to find out how much he has grown!

Marissa starts preschool on September 14th and she is super excited!  I know she will love it and she is definitely READY!

Here's some other things we've been up to!  We enjoyed a visit from some of Tony's family, the Sodoma's who live in Texas, and who we don't get to see very often!

We had a memorial service for Tony's Uncle Bob who passed away back in January.  It was nice to be able to share some memories of him and be together with family to celebrate his life.

The boys with the exception of Tony went up North for a fishing trip which means the girls got a shopping day at IKEA!  Here's a few pics I took in the van with all 4 kids!

We enjoyed an evening at the Drive-In with as Marissa calls us, "the four family."  We packed up the kids with the hopes that they would behave while watching the movie.  Marissa fell asleep on the way there but woke up just in time for the movie to start!  She wanted to take a self-portrait.  Isn't it lovely?

Self-Portrait.....why is my head always cut off?

I try to take pictures often knowing that Brody is changing so quickly!  Here's a few cute ones I caught one morning while they kids were snuggling!

We ventured out to the State Fair last Friday for the first time in 4 years!  It was a good time but we remembered why we haven't been there in so long!  Here's a few pics from the day!

Last Saturday night, Tony & I got the pleasure of going on a date night to the Vikings game courtesy of Tony's work!  We had fun and it was great to see Brett Favre playing again!

So needless to say, we've been staying busy!  Enjoying life as a family of four!
