Here we are at Monday again and after a very busy weekend full of family fun, I'm wishing we could have just one more day before starting another busy week! Ah, such is life! Tony took Friday off so we could spend a long weekend together. On Friday we started off the weekend with taking the kids roller skating. It was Brody's first time skating and he did amazing! It helped that the rink had a trainer to help him feel confident. We headed to the kids favorite lunch spot, Chili's and then late afternoon, we took the kids to the movies to see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. It was such a cute family movie which is rare these days. We then broke out the game, Clue and played several rounds before the kids headed off to bed.
Saturday morning we headed to the YMCA to get a workout in before starting another busy day. When we got home, Tony took the kids over the local grocery store for their Halloween event and then we spent the afternoon raking leaves and playing football in the front yard. We headed to Maple Grove to get groceries and let the kids play at the favorite park. Again our evening ended with several games of Clue before bed.
Sunday after church, we had our usual family brunch like we do every Sunday and then watched the Vikings lose yet another game. We had to take advantage of such a beautiful day outside and we headed to a local park to play tennis, practice cartwheels and handstands and let the kids play at the park. Then we ended the night with another night of Clue! Do you see the pattern?
Lots of beautiful family memories were made just being together and I am so grateful to have my 4family in my life.
