Thanksgiving, Birthday Parties & More catching up!

It's been a very busy few weeks around here and my blog is falling behind again!  We enjoyed a few days at my Grandma Allyn's in Iowa over Thanksgiving.  We had good food, went for a beautiful walk around the lake, took the kids to the park, played games, had a girls Black Friday shopping trip, a few sick kids and husband, a flood in our kitchen, Christmas tree & house decorating and a 6th Birthday party!

Marissa enjoyed celebrating her 6th Birthday at the local bowling alley with her friends & family.  This afternoon, we went downtown Minneapolis to fulfill our tradition of the Hollidazzle Parade & 8th floor Macy's display.  More celebrating will be happening around here the next few days and more posts to come on that!  Marissa got an American Girl doll for her birthday and it's been fun watching her enjoy it already.  We've been told it's her sister and her name Calissa.  The doll hasn't left her side since she opened it!  She's thanked us endlessly for it so I'd say she is one happy birthday girl!
